Zeeman is a European chain store with about 1,000 establishments in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, and Luxembourg. The first store was opened by Jan Zeeman in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands in March 1967. It was a kind of supermarket for clothes, and proved to be quite a success, followed soon by the opening of more stores. The distribution centre is located in Alphen aan den Rijn.
