Copious units of blood are needed every day in Dhaka City. Blood centers often run short of type O- blood, and shortages of all types of blood occur during the summer and winter holidays.

Noman Group teamed up with Quantum Foundation to host their annual summer blood drive on July 8 at the Noman Group Headquarters. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Abdullah Talha, Director of Noman Group.

The 2013 Blood Drive was a definitive success. It registered 25 donors with some even managing to give a double donation of blood cells! A separate team of volunteers were on site giving out drinks, snacks and t-shirts all who donated. The team was thrilled with the turnout, and looks forward to next blood drive that’s slated to take place in December.
